TECHNOLOGY HUB

The planning sees the creation of a 40,000 square metre technology node directly beside the logistics park. It will focus on new forms of transport, autonomous flight, drones and the
development of alternative, climate-neutral forms of driving and fuels.

The airport-adjacent position means that companies can develop directly at their planned site of usage under strict security conditions. Areas for test flights (indoors and outdoors) make the location unique for such usage. There are also plans to position a hangar for general aviation.

The security and operational regulations will be adapted to the usage; they are not strictly subject to international commercial-airport rules as the general-aviation section is not part of the airport’s secure zone.
